Welcome to CastaNote. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CastaNote mobile application ("Application") and related services, operated by Wayne Wang ("we", "us", or "Service Provider"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By creating an account or using CastaNote, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

Plan features, limits, and pricing are subject to change. We will notify users of material changes in advance.
Pro subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. By subscribing to a Pro plan, you agree to the billing terms of your respective app store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings.
You retain ownership of all content you create through CastaNote, including voice recordings, fishing logs, and any imported data ("User Content"). By using the Application, you grant us a limited license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service (e.g., AI transcription, extraction, and insight generation).

The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors and should be reviewed before relying on it for safety-critical decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wayne Wang shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen within the Application. Upon deletion, all your fishing logs, insights, profile data, and stored files will be permanently removed. You may also request account deletion by contacting us at wayne@castanote.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where practical, notify you through the Application. Continued use of CastaNote after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service Provider resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
